Biography

Benjamin Mangrum specializes in twentieth- and twenty-first-century literature and has published extensively on contemporary literature, digital humanities, and environmental literature. Mangrum has also received the 2023 Levitan Prize and is a former member of the Michigan Society of Fellows. In recent years, he has taught courses such as 'Global Environmental Literature: Ecofeminism' and 'Science Fiction Fantasy: Science Fiction Freedom'. His research interests intersect with environmental rights and the analysis of modern literary forms, contributing significantly to the discourse on contemporary literary studies.
