Biography

Dr. Benjamin Schnapp is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated from the Mount Sinai Hospital emergency medicine residency program in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Schnapp completed his medical education fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is currently completing a Master of Education with a focus on Health Professions at the University of Cincinnati. His educational interests lie in clinical teaching skills, resident wellness, and decision-making in emergency medicine. He actively participates in leadership roles including Residency Program Director and Fellowship Director for Graduate Medical Education. He is involved with the SAEM Graduate Medical Education Fellowship Approval committees. In his free time, Dr. Schnapp enjoys grilling in his backyard, exploring local restaurants in Madison, and traveling back to his home state of Maine to spend time with his wife and children.
