Professor Dr. Bent Warming Rasmussen

Biography

Bent Warming-Rasmussen is a Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, specializing in auditing, corporate social responsibility, and financial accounting. He completed his Ph.D. at Aarhus School of Business in 1990 and has since held various academic and administrative positions, including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. His research interests encompass auditing quality, professional ethics, liability, audit regulations, and gender-related career issues within the auditing profession. Warming-Rasmussen has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in various international conferences on auditing and related topics. His teaching roles have included courses in auditing, business ethics, and project management. He is also a certified public accountant and a certified psychotherapist, demonstrating his diverse academic background. Throughout his career, he has been engaged in numerous activities, including editorial roles, peer reviews, and contributions to research networks. He has supervised many master's theses and has been involved in the organization of significant academic events.
