Biography

Bernd Girod is the Robert L. and Audrey S. Hancock Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, holding a pivotal role at the Information Systems Laboratory since joining the faculty in 1999. Girod's educational background includes an Engineering Doctorate from the University of Hannover and a Master of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
