Biography

Bernd Souvignier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Radboud University. His main research interests lie in algorithmic group theory and representation theory, with applications in mathematical crystallography. He is a consultant for the International Union of Crystallography Commission on Mathematical Crystallography. Souvignier has a rich background in computer algebra, having worked with the Magma group at the University of Sydney in 1996/97, where he contributed to packages focused on groups, representations, and lattices over local fields.
