Professor Jodoin completed his PhD studies at Université de Sherbrooke and joined the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Ottawa in 1998. He founded the University of Ottawa Cold Spray laboratory and is currently working on the development of new coating processes for the production of high-performance coatings in the aeronautic sector. In particular, he focuses on the development of the Cold Gas Dynamic Spray process and the Shock Wave Induced Spraying process, as well as the production of nanocrystalline coatings. Professor Jodoin is also involved in the development of a new generation of high-performance heat exchangers for gas turbines.
