Biography

Beth Ann Cutezo is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the College of Nursing at Pennsylvania State University. She has a clinical background in medical-surgical nursing, intensive care unit, home health, school nursing, and family health nursing. She is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University. Over the years, she has taught various courses at PSU College of Nursing, engaging both residential and online students. With a commitment to educational excellence, she received the Janet Williamson Excellence in Teaching Award in 2016 and became an Apple Educator in 2019. Cutezo has actively mentored student nurses and involved them in developing app solutions to enhance client care in the community. Her dedication has been acknowledged through her selection as a Community Leader by the “Town Gown” magazine in 2023. Her research interests include public health and community health, with presentations at state and national conferences addressing telehealth and nursing education topics. She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations and has received grants for research focused on sustainability and improving healthcare in rural communities.
