Beth Greenhough joined the School of Geography and the Environment in September 2014. She holds a PhD in Human Geography from the Open University, an MA in Society and Space from the University of Bristol, and a BSc in Human Geography from the University of Reading. She has received funding from various organizations, including the AHRC and the Wellcome Trust, and has published widely in leading interdisciplinary geography journals. Currently, she leads the 'Animal Research Nexus' project focused on the societal aspects of animal research in medicine, collaborating with multiple universities. Additionally, she is involved in various projects exploring microbiome research, animal ethics, and public health initiatives aimed at increasing breast cancer awareness among Black women.
