Biography

Beth Grunschel received a Bachelor of Science (Sc.B.) and a Master of Science (Sc.M.) in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, where she focused her master's thesis on murine bone biomechanics. After completing her medical education at Jefferson Medical College, she finished her Psychiatry residency at Yale, where she served as Chief Resident. Following her residency, Dr. Grunschel undertook an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale and is board certified in both Adult and Addiction Psychiatry. Currently, she practices clinically in private practice while also holding a voluntary faculty position at the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry. Her contributions to the field of psychiatry are supported by her experience in academic appointments and clinical practice.
