Biography

Beverly Walther is the Eric L. Kohler Chair at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where she also leads the Personnel Committee. Professor Walther's research focuses on the use of accounting information by market participants, particularly concerning sell-side security analysts, political connections, and managerial disclosures. She has published influential articles in leading journals such as the Accounting Review and the Journal of Accounting and Economics. Prior to joining Kellogg, she worked with KPMG Peat Marwick.
