Biography

Bill Randolph joined the Faculty of the Built Environment at the University of New South Wales in August 2004 and is currently the Director of the City Futures Research Centre. He has extensive experience in research related to housing policy, housing markets, affordability, urban renewal, and metropolitan planning issues. Randolph has worked across academic, government, and non-government sectors, bringing 45 years of expertise to his role. He served as Associate Dean Research from 2009 to 2013 and stepped down as Director of the City Futures Research Centre in late 2020. Randolph holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and is recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences Australia, a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, and a member of the Australasian Housing Institute. His research endeavors reflect a commitment to addressing pressing urban policy and housing challenges in Australia.
