Dr. Blake Leland

Biography

Blake Leland received his Ph.D. in 1988 from Cornell University and has been a faculty member at Georgia Tech's School of Literature, Media, and Communication. He focuses primarily on the degree program in Science, Technology, and Culture. His scholarly work delves into the psychology of literary production, with a particular emphasis on poetry. His writings have appeared in prominent journals such as Diacritics, English Literary History, Genre, and Twentieth Century Literature. Additionally, Leland is a practicing poet, with his poems published in esteemed venues like The New Yorker, Epoch, Commonweal, and the Indiana Review.
