Biography

Professor Bo Chen is at the forefront of Operational Research and Management Science (ORMS) analytics, with over twenty years of experience. He specializes in developing successful interfaces between ORMS, economics, and computer science. He earned his PhD in Operations Research and Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2012. Professor Chen was awarded a Higher Doctorate, a prestigious honor recognizing a lifetime achievement for his original and sustained contributions to scholarship at the highest international level. He has been conferred the title of Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS). Bo has been a full Professor of Operational Research and Analytics Management Science at Warwick Business School (WBS) since 2005. His previous positions include Senior ESRC Management Research Fellow, Visiting Professor in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University, USA, and Chair Professor in Mathematical Sciences at Tsinghua University, China.
