Biography

Boaz Shulruf is an Honorary Professor in Medical Education at UNSW Sydney with extensive expertise in psycho-educational assessment in higher education, specifically within the Medical Health Sciences education field. His main research interests focus on educational assessment methodologies, quantitative research methodologies, and psychometrics. He is actively involved in various research groups across Australia and New Zealand, leading studies on issues such as standard setting in educational assessment and medical student selection processes. His work also encompasses the evaluation of learning environments and student experiences, as well as developing observational tools for assessing individual and team performance in educational contexts. Boaz is committed to enhancing medical education and has supervised numerous PhD and Master's projects related to his research interests. He offers consultancy services in quantitative research methodologies and assessment psychometrics, including research design and statistical analysis.
