Dr. Bob Hancké

Biography

Bob Hancké is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the European Institute of the London School of Economics. He served as an Associate Professor specializing in Political Economy and obtained his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His academic career includes notable appointments at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin and the J.F. Kennedy School at Harvard University, where he focused on European Studies. He has held visiting positions at prestigious institutions such as the European University Institute in Florence, Central European University in Budapest, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and Peking University. His research has led to several significant publications, including 'Large Firms and Institutional Change' (Oxford University Press, 2002), 'Intelligent Research Design' (Oxford University Press, 2009), and 'Debating Varieties of Capitalism' (Oxford University Press, 2009).
