Biography

Bob Myers is a Senior Lecturer specializing in Operations Management. Recognized for his dedication to teaching excellence, he received the prestigious Linda Lloyd Byers Award for Faculty Teaching Excellence in 2020. With decades of experience in academia, Bob enriches his classroom instruction with a wealth of practical insights garnered from his diverse background in industry. His professional journey has involved assuming various roles such as Director, Project Manager, QA Manager, and Engineer, which provides him with a comprehensive perspective on real-world challenges. Bob is PMP Certified and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He energetically lectures on a spectrum of undergraduate and graduate courses including Operations Management, Technology, Global Operations, Managing Products, Service, Technology Development, and Service Operations. Notably, Bob has curated courses at Scheller such as Managing Process Innovation and the Supply Chain Practicum. He plays a significant role as the Executive Education Faculty Director for Lean Six Sigma programs. His expertise and leadership in this domain are instrumental in shaping the professional development of executives seeking to enhance their organizations' operational efficiency and effectiveness. In addition to his academic commitments, Bob actively supports independent studies and serves as faculty advisor to the Undergraduate Operations Management Society (UOMS) and Greek organizations.
