Biography

Dr. Lindsay joined the School of Law in 2018. He graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LL.B (First Class) and obtained a Distinction in Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford. He later completed a PhD at Glasgow before being appointed as a Lecturer in Private Law. His primary research interests include international private law, obligations law, and corporate insolvency. Prior to his current position, he was a research assistant to Professor Ewan McKendrick QC on the fifth edition of Goode Commercial Law and was also invited to sit on the Scottish Law Commission’s Advisory Panel for the Discussion Paper on Penalty Clauses. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as the Mooting Officer of the School of Law and is a member of the Law Reform and Public Policy group, which organizes the Justice@Glasgow Seminar Series.
