Biography

Bogdan Bernevig is a professor of physics at Princeton University. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2006. His current research interests include quantum states of matter, particularly twisted moire systems, high-temperature superconductivity, and topological phases of matter. Bernevig has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the European Physical Society award in 2023, the American Physical Society's James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials in 2019, and a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2017. He was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 2022 and is the author of the book "Topological Insulators and Superconductors," published by Princeton University Press in 2013.
