Biography

Bonnie Janzen is an Associate Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She holds a Ph.D. in Community Health & Epidemiology, attained in 2001, and has expertise in social epidemiology. Her research focuses on the intersections between health and socioeconomic circumstances, as well as health issues prevalent in rural populations. Janzen's academic pursuits have also included education psychology, as she earned an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology in 1992. Additionally, she completed a B.A. with honors in Psychology at the University of Winnipeg in 1987. Janzen is dedicated to advancing the understanding of health determinants and improving health outcomes in vulnerable communities.
