Bonnie Sierlecki studies how norms and ideals are constituted, reshaped, reinforced, and challenged within discourse in world popular American sport. She has served as an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences for the past eight years at Pennsylvania State University, teaching courses such as Justice in Sport, Communication and Civilization, Argument and Controversy, Introduction to Media Studies, Gender, Culture, and Communication, as well as Qualitative Research Methods in Communication.
