Dr. Khoo completed undergraduate medical studies at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and has been a fractional lecturer in paediatric neonatology at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia since March 1, 2009. In addition to his academic role, he is a practicing consultant paediatrician and neonatologist at Sunway Medical Centre. Prior to joining Monash, Dr. Khoo was a consultant paediatrician neonatologist at Sungai Buloh Hospital and served as an honorary lecturer in paediatric neonatology at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). His research interests include the care of extremely premature infants, infection control and prevention in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), paediatric infectious diseases, and paediatric dermatology. Dr. Khoo's expertise also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015, as he works to process information, deliver content, extract insights, and generate reports to understand service usage in medical contexts.
