Professor Nasri is a faculty member in biostatistics at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. She holds a FRQS Junior 2 fellowship in artificial intelligence in health and climate change, and is the principal investigator for grants funded by NSERC and CIHR focusing on theoretical statistics for complex data and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases. She was co-leader of the data management theme (2021-2024) of the One Health Network on modeling infections (OMNI) and a member of Mathematics for Public Health (MfPh), funded by NSERC and PHAC. Since March 2023, she has been appointed president of the Data Informatics Center of Epidemiology at PathCheck and, starting in 2024, she will be co-director of the digital health network in Quebec. Her lab focuses on developing models for public health issues related to climate change.
