Biography

Brad Bass is a researcher and member of Environment Climate Change Canada's Great Lakes Nutrient Initiative team. His research interests encompass modeling complexity, water quality policy, and management alternatives aimed at reducing urban phosphorus loads. He is also involved in addressing economic issues related to the Great Lakes and is active in public policy discussions concerning these topics. Additionally, Brad is the Associate Executive Director of the Foundation for Student Science and Technology, where he directs the University Research Experience in Complex Systems (URECS). This program brings secondary school and university students together to explore the interactions between environmental change and health. He offers workshops and simulations to study these interactions, as well as networking opportunities using concepts like the Prisoner's Dilemma.
