Brad Rolf is an Academic Teaching Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Genetics. He co-directs the Genetic Counseling Graduate Program at the University of Washington, where he has been instrumental in training the next generation of genetics counselors. After earning a bachelor's degree in Biology from Baylor University, he gained valuable experience at the Texas Department of State Health Services Laboratory. This experience sparked his interest in genetic counseling, leading him to complete a master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Since joining the staff of the Genetic Medicine Clinic at the University of Washington in 2013, he has worked closely with adult patients who are affected by inherited conditions. Over the years, he transitioned into a clinical research role and is now also the associate program director of the Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. His research interests and publications further contribute to the field of medical genetics.
