Biography

Bradley Uren, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. His career focuses on advancing health care delivery and shaping impactful health policy. Dr. Uren has extensive clinical and academic experience, with his work aimed at bridging frontline medicine with policy reform to improve patient outcomes and system equity. Recognized as a leader in organized medicine, he serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Michigan State Medical Society and has been the past president of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians. His national involvement includes leadership roles in committees for the American College of Emergency Physicians, contributing to the advancement of emergency medicine policy and practice. Dr. Uren has been actively engaged in legislative advocacy, public health initiatives, and professional development, and his expertise was acknowledged with a gubernatorial appointment to the Michigan Pharmacy Therapeutics Committee. In this capacity, he directs the state's efforts in evaluating and guiding formulary coverage decisions, thereby influencing pharmaceutical policy access for residents in Michigan.
