Biography

Bram Adams is a full professor at Queen's University, where he heads the MCIS lab on Maintenance, Construction, Intelligence Software. He obtained his PhD in 2008 from Ghent University's GH-SEL lab in Belgium. His research interests encompass software release engineering, DevOps, MLOps, software analytics, and software engineering AI, including mining software repositories. Bram has made significant contributions to the field, having published his work at premier software engineering conferences such as ICSE, FSE, MSR, and ICSME, as well as in notable journals like EMSE, TSE, and JSS. He has received six paper awards and two influential paper awards, showcasing his impactful research. In 2021, he was honored with the MSR community's Foundational Contribution Award for his work on research evangelization in release engineering. Additionally, Bram has held pivotal roles in organizing various workshops and conferences, including co-organizing the RELENG International Workshop on Release Engineering and serving as program co-chair for SCAM, SANER, and others.
