Biography

Professor Bram Axelrod's research focuses on the synthesis of complex glycoproteins, natural products, and oligosaccharides, emphasizing their importance in immunology and oncology. His projects investigate the connection between chosen synthesis strategies and the complexity of the biological questions addressed, as well as the broader applicability of the chemistry involved, which aims to interrogate significant biological problems with greater implications for translational research.
