Brandon Keehn received his Ph.D. from the San Diego State University and University of California, San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Language Communicative Disorders in 2011. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In fall 2014, he joined Purdue University with a joint appointment in the Departments of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences and Psychological Sciences. Keehn’s research employs a multimodal approach, integrating techniques such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Electroencephalography (EEG), and eye-tracking to explore the attentional strengths and weaknesses and neurofunctional underpinnings of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). His goal is to uncover early biomarkers that could assist in diagnosing ASD and identifying potential targets for early intervention. He is affiliated with the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR), Society for Neuroscience (SfN), and the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD).
