Dr. Brayden King

Biography

Brayden King is a Professor of Management & Organizations at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where he holds the Max McGraw Chair in Management and the Environment. With a research focus on social movements, corporate social responsibility, and organizational change, he examines how social movement activists influence corporate policymaking. His notable studies explore the impact of boycotts and stakeholder activism on corporate practices and the processes that lead to improved corporate environmental and social sustainability. King has published extensively in leading sociological journals such as the American Journal of Sociology and the American Sociological Review. He has served as the senior editor for Organization Science and has guest-edited for other prominent journals in the field. King holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Arizona and has appointments as an International Research Fellow at the Centre for Corporate Reputation at Oxford University. His teaching interests include leadership in organizations and organizational theory.
