Biography

Brendan McConville’s research focuses on the intersection of politics and social developments in Early America. He is the author of "Daring Disturbers of the Public Peace" (Cornell, 1999; paperback University of Pennsylvania, 2003) and "King’s Faces: The Rise and Fall of Royal America, 1688-1776" (OIEAHC-UNC Press, 2006). His forthcoming work centers on the American Revolution. McConville has taught at SUNY-Binghamton from 1992 to 2004 and served as chair of the department during the academic year 2003-2004.
