Brendon Bankey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the Moody College of Communication, University of Texas at Austin. He previously co-coached the #1 overall ranked debate team at the University of Kansas, which won the National Debate Tournament in 2018. Bankey has served as the curriculum director for the Jayhawk Debate Institute and is the new director of the Intercollegiate Policy Debate program.
