Dr. Brian Antono

Biography

Brian T Antono is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Duke University. He is also a Core Faculty Member at the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy. His academic focus includes health equity, policy development, and primary care strategies. Antono earned his M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also completed his medical training. His work emphasizes improving healthcare delivery and outcomes in underserved populations. He has been involved in various programs aimed at integrating health equity into clinical practice and was previously a Medical Instructor at his department, where he contributed to training future healthcare professionals. Additionally, he participates in leadership initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of primary care at Duke. Antono's research interests align with his commitment to developing effective health policies that address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.
