Dr. Brian Clark

Biography

Brian Clark is a Professor of Surgery at Duke University. He has extensive training and experience in congenital cardiac surgery, having completed his fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. His residency in cardiothoracic surgery took place at the University of Virginia, following earlier training as a general surgery resident at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Throughout his career, Dr. Clark has dedicated himself to advancing surgical practices, particularly within the realms of congenital heart disease. His medical education includes an M.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and has held various academic appointments, including an instructor role in the Department of Surgery.
