Dr. Brian Creamer

Biography

Brian Creamer is a Project Designer at Nitsch Engineering, where he focuses on stormwater master planning and helps municipalities implement effective management practices. He earned his Master of City Planning from Boston University in 2015 after completing a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, which ignited his interest in urban place-making and social justice issues. As a Boston native, Brian felt compelled to return home to pursue his studies at BU, appreciating the program's flexible scheduling that allowed him to maintain a full-time job in real estate development. His education provided him a solid foundation in urban planning, public health, budgeting, and urban design challenges. During his time at BU, Brian engaged in participatory planning and developed essential relationships with municipalities and residents, enabling him to build stronger communities. His experience at the interdisciplinary firm of Nitsch Engineering has prepared him to be a dynamic leader within the field of urban design and policy decision-making.
