Biography

Brian S. Davis is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Discipline Coordinator at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University. He has significant teaching and research experience in finance, having previously served as an assistant professor of management at York College of Pennsylvania since 2006. He has also been a faculty member at Ohio University and the University at Albany, SUNY. Davis earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from the State University of New York at Albany. Prior to entering academia, he worked as an economic consultant for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. His expertise includes International Financial Services Regulation, Basel Accords, Oil Markets, and Welfare Social Service Reform in Public Finance. Davis holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Colgate University and a master's degree in Economics from George Mason University.
