Dr. Brian Davis

Biography

Brian Adam Davis is a Volunteer Clinical Professor specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UC Davis Health. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Northern Illinois University in 1986. Following this, he earned his Medical Doctorate from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1992. His postgraduate training included a Transitional Medicine internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School from 1993 to 1996. He further pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine Rehabilitation at the same institution from 1996 to 1997. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly and Sacramento Magazine multiple times from 2015 to 2022. His contributions to the field include active involvement in the Sacramento Running Association and recognition as Teacher of the Year at UC Davis Medical Center in 2001 and 2015. He is committed to advancing the practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation through education and excellence in patient care.
