Biography

Brian R. Lendecky is a Professor in the Department of Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin. He joined the department in 2006 and has taught courses in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting across various programs, including the Undergraduate program, Canfield Business Honors, Master Professional Accounting (MPA), Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA, and MS Finance. Before academia, Brian worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and managed accounting departments in diverse industries. He is a licensed CPA in Texas and a dedicated alumnus of the McCombs School of Business. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports fan. He has also participated in the World Series of Poker.
