Professor Dr. Brian Mackenzie

Biography

Brian MacKenzie is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research interests revolve around sustainable management practices in marine ecosystems, particularly focusing on fish migration and natural mortality in significant fish species like cod and bluefin tuna. MacKenzie has been actively involved in numerous projects aimed at understanding the impacts of climate change and human activities on marine biodiversity, as well as the recruitment and distribution patterns of key fish species in the North Atlantic. His academic contributions have been recognized internationally, and he participates in various collaboration efforts within the fishing and environmental research communities.
