Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Brian Odom. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Professor Odom’s group works with atoms and molecules trapped in inert cryogenic crystals. The ultimate goal is to use these systems to search for physics beyond the Standard Model, including dark matter and time-reversal symmetry violation, and to utilize quantum sensing applications. Professor Odom is a member of the Center for Fundamental Physics at Low Energy (CFP). He has received various honors, including the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, AFOSR Young Investigator Award, David and Lucile Packard Fellowship, and the NSF Faculty Early Career Development Award based on his significant contributions to the field.
Standard PhD requirements for TGS departments including Chemistry, Physics, and Sociology.
