Biography

Brian D. Robinson is a board-certified Anatomic Pathologist with subspecialty expertise and interest in Genitourinary Pathology. After completing his general pathology residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, he pursued a clinical research fellowship in Urologic Pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. His research focuses on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers. Dr. Robinson has co-authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications, edited textbooks, and written multiple chapters on benign and malignant urologic diseases. He serves on expert panels related to prostate, bladder, and upper urinary tract malignancies and is a member of the Editorial Board for Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and BMC Cancer. In addition to his research activities, Dr. Robinson is actively involved in medical education as the Director of Anatomic Pathology, teaching medical students and residents. His contributions to the field have been recognized through several awards, including the Paul Peter Rosen Clinical Service Award in 2020 and the Medical Student Year Teaching Award in 2013.
