Dr. Brian Rubineau

Biography

Brian Rubineau is an Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. His research focuses on the informal social dynamics that contribute to inequalities in occupations and labor markets. His work has been published in prominent management and sociology journals, including Management Science, Organization Science, and the American Sociological Review. Additionally, he has received multiple competitive research grants and has served as a Residential Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences at Cornell University, and as a Graduate Fellow at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. Rubineau teaches courses such as Introduction to Organizational Behavior and Social Network Analysis, and he has supervised various graduate students in fields related to social networks and professional socialization. His research interests include Computational and Mathematical Modeling, Inequality, and Organizational Behavior.
