I am a Science Technology Studies (STS) scholar originally trained as an anthropologist. For over a decade, I have conducted research concerning the role of technology in knowledge practices within society. My work has contributed to understanding how digital technologies operate within organizational contexts and the active role of users. My main research interest revolves around the impact of public sector digitalization on welfare service systems, focusing on mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion driven by the intensification of data usage within the public sector. I explore concepts such as 'partially digital citizenship', 'informal digital welfare work', and 'experiential socially thick computing'. I have co-edited several books within STS and have extensive experience leading large research projects. I supervise PhD students in the field of Science Technology Studies at DTU and teach various courses, including Experimenting Ethnography and Theory of Science at the bachelor's level, along with Analytics at the master's level. I also engage in public talks in both academic and non-academic settings, linking my expertise to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
