Biography

Brittany Houston, Psy.D., is an assistant professor and a licensed psychologist at Dell Medical School. She serves as the behavioral science director for Dell Med’s Family Medicine Residency program. Houston's professional interests focus on the Primary Care Behavioral Health consultation model, clinical supervision, medical education, diversity, and wellness. Additionally, she is a co-chair of the Primary Care Behavioral Health Special Interest Group within the Collaborative Health Care Association. Her extensive training includes a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Lady Lake University, alongside a postdoctoral fellowship in Primary Care and Medical Education at Community Health in Central Washington. Houston completed her clinical internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Learning and Development and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
