Biography

Britte Bouchaut is an Assistant Professor in the Safety & Security Science group at TU Delft. As a postdoctoral researcher, she contributed to the EU H2020 Water Mining project focusing on innovative, more sustainable methods in industrial biotechnology. Her work emphasizes risk and benefit assessments in applying safe design principles to new synthetic chemicals and biotechnologies, ensuring transparency and accountability in the communication of uncertainties related to these fields.
