Dr. Britton Keeshan

Biography

Britton C. Keeshan MD, MPH is a pediatric cardiologist who specializes in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization for children and adults with congenital heart disease. He received his Master of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute at Dartmouth Medical School and earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Keeshan completed his pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and pursued his pediatric cardiology sub-specialty training in pediatric interventional cardiology at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. He joined the faculty at Yale School of Medicine in August 2018. His professional focus includes advancing minimally invasive procedures for congenital heart defects, particularly through cardiac catheterization techniques, which he describes as performing imaging tests and procedures in a way that reduces recovery time compared to traditional surgery. Dr. Keeshan is actively involved in education and community service related to congenital heart disease and participates in various professional organizations and committees.
