Biography

Bruce Cockburn is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. Bruce is a member of professional organizations including the IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery, and he is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta, Canada. He actively mentors students, particularly those from underrepresented groups, and participates in initiatives that support their involvement in engineering and technology fields.
