I was born in France at the turn of the millennium and studied physics at the University of Toulouse. My PhD thesis focused on the formation of binaries in globular clusters. I have worked at universities and research centers in Italy, France, the USA, and Australia. My main research area is high-energy astrophysics, particularly explosive events. I am especially interested in the imprints left by black holes and compact objects in the surrounding media. Fun fact: I have collaborated with French, Italian, European, and American space agencies over the years. My current research involves ultra-long gamma-ray bursts and understanding their surrounding medium and progenitors. I am interested in the structure of jets emitted during explosions, particularly their beaming, composition, and acceleration. My prior positions include a Marie Curie RTN fellow at IASF-Roma with the French Space Agency and a post-doctoral researcher at the Data Center of the Italian Space Agency. I also served as Assistant Professor at the University of the Virgin Islands, focusing on robotic telescopes and observatories; transient sky; high-energy science; and gravitational waves. I am fluent in French, English, and Italian, and can understand Spanish with some knowledge of Japanese.
