Dr. Bruce Hunt

Biography

Professor Bruce J. Hunt's current research focuses on the history of physics in 19th century Britain, particularly the life and work of James Clerk Maxwell. He has strong interests in the history of electrical technologies, nuclear weapons, and evolutionary theory. Professor Hunt teaches courses in the history of modern science, the history of technology, and modern British history. His extensive teaching portfolio includes classes on electrification and the history of the atomic bomb.
