Biography

Bruce W. Jentleson is the William Preston Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at Duke University, where he has served as a prominent figure in the Sanford School of Public Policy and as an affiliate of the Duke Center for International Development. He has held various notable positions, including Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Jentleson's academic career includes past appointments at the University of California, Davis, where he was a professor of political science. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and has been awarded for his contributions to public service and education, including the American Political Science Association's Joseph J. Kruzel Award and Duke University's Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award.
