Brunilde joined UCL Energy Institute in 2020 as a research fellow focusing on socio-technical energy transitions. She currently works for the UCL Institute of Sustainable Resources within the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources. Brunilde is also an honorary fellow at the Julius Kruttschnitt Minerals Research Centre, Sustainable Minerals Institute, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, where she explores corporate social responsibility and ESG in mining through systems thinking. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Environmental Management from the University of Strasbourg and an MSc in Mechatronics from the same institution. Current projects include research on enhancing sustainable development outcomes in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) through System Dynamics Analysis for decarbonisation strategies and participation in initiatives led by the UKRI.
